ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Noboard

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen someone snowboarding down a mountain? Well, imagine doing the same thing but without a snowboard! That's what noboarding is.

When you noboard, you wear special boots that attach directly to your snow boots. These boots have a rough grip on the bottom that helps you stay on the snow. Instead of standing on a board, you stand directly on the snow.

Now, when you want to turn while noboarding, you have to shift your weight to the side you want to turn to. This helps you slide in that direction. If you want to stop, you can use your feet to dig into the snow and slow down.

Noboarding can be a bit tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's super fun! It's a great way to feel like you're really surfing the snow without anything in between you and the mountain.
