A node is like a person in a big group who can talk and listen to other people in the group. In networking, this group is called a network and it can be made up of computers, phones, printers, and other devices that can connect to each other.
Each node has a unique address, like a phone number or an email address, which helps other nodes find it in the network. This address is called an IP address.
When a node wants to send a message to another node, it will use the other node's IP address to reach it. This message can be anything from a photo, to a text message, to information about the weather.
Nodes are important in networking because they allow devices to communicate with each other and share information, even if they are located far apart. Without nodes, we wouldn't be able to access the internet, send emails, or use our phones to call friends and family.
