Noise Reduction Coefficient

Noise reduction coefficient (NRC) is a measure of how well a material can absorb sound. The higher the NRC, the more sound it can absorb, and the quieter it will be in a room. For example, a material with a high NRC will help reduce echoing in a room, while a material with a low NRC won't. So the higher the NRC, the better the material is at absorbing noise and helping keep a room quiet.
