Non-dimensionalization and scaling of the Navier–Stokes equations

Non-dimensionalization and scaling of the Navier-Stokes equations is a way to make the equations easier to solve. It's like writing the equations with different words that all mean the same thing, so they don't get too long and confusing. Instead of writing the equations with words like "velocity", "pressure", and "temperature", scientists use math symbols like "V", "P", and "T". To make it easier for the equations to be solved, the equations are then divided by certain numbers that represent how big each of those symbols are. That way, it's easier for the computer to figure out what the answers should be.
