Non-revenue water

Non-revenue water is the water that comes out of your pipes at home, but you don't pay for it. This can happen when pipes are leaking and the water runs out, or when there are problems with the pipes and the water company can't get it to you. The amount of water that is lost is called non-revenue water, since the water company isn't getting any money for it.
