Non-uniform discrete Fourier transform

Non-uniform Discrete Fourier Transform (NDFT) is a way of converting signals (patterns of sound or light) from one form to another. It helps us understand things that happen in the world around us.

Think of it this way: Suppose you have a painting that has lots of different colors, shapes, and patterns. You can think of the painting as a signal, and the colors, shapes and patterns as the information contained in that signal. To understand the painting better, we need to find a way to convert the information in the painting into something easier to understand.

That is where the NDFT comes in. It takes the information in the painting and turns it into a different type of signal that is easier to understand and analyse. This way, we can understand things like what colors are in the painting, how the shapes are arranged, and even how the painting will look when it is viewed from different angles.
