Nonlinear control

Nonlinear control is like a map that you keep in your head as you drive to a destination. It's not a map that you can look at, but you know where you're going because you remember the landmarks and routes you need to take. In other words, with nonlinear control, you can control something that behaves in a complex way without looking at the whole picture all at once. For example, if you're driving a car, nonlinear control lets you know when to turn, when to speed up or slow down, and when to stop without having to constantly look back and forth between the roads and the driver's seat.
