Nonviolent revolution

Nonviolence is a type of revolution where people do not use violence to try and make change. In nonviolent revolutions, people use their voices to argue and try to convince other people to change the way they do things. For example, people might march in the streets, write letters to elected officials, and talk to each other about why they think a certain rule should be changed. People in a nonviolent revolution are trying to peacefully bring about change without using violence.
