Normalization (Czechoslovakia)

Normalization (Czechoslovakia) is when a country is split into two or more countries. In Czechoslovakia's case, it got split into two countries - Czechia and Slovakia - in 1993. This happened because the different ethnic groups living in the country - Czechs and Slovaks - wanted their own countries. Before the normalization, they had been living in the same country but with different rights. After the normalization, each group got their own country with their own rights and laws.
