Nuclear propulsion

Nuclear propulsion is a way to power ships and planes by using energy from atoms. This is different from regular engines that use energy from burning things like gasoline or diesel. In a nuclear engine, atoms splits apart which releases energy in the form of heat. This heat is used to turn water into steam which then moves a turbine to give the engine power. In ships and planes, this power can help them to move faster, farther and for longer than regular engines.
