Nuclear-Free Future Award

Imagine you have a toy that sometimes gets too hot and can hurt you if you play with it for too long. Now, there are some things in the world that are like big toys, called nuclear weapons. These weapons can get really, really hot and hurt a lot of people if they are used.

But, people are working together to stop using these weapons and to find other ways to solve problems. They want to make sure that we all live in a safe and happy world where no one gets hurt by these dangerous toys.

To help encourage this, some people give out awards called the "nuclear-free future award". This award goes to people, organizations, and even towns and cities that are doing things to make the world safer from nuclear weapons.

Some things these award winners might do are:

- Help make sure countries don't make more nuclear weapons
- Teach people how dangerous and scary nuclear weapons are
- Work to make sure we use other ways to solve problems instead of using nuclear weapons

So basically, the nuclear-free future award is like a big hug to people who are working really hard to make sure that we all stay safe and happy, and don't get hurt by dangerous weapons.
