Numeric keypad

A numeric keypad is a special part of a computer keyboard that has numbers and mathematical symbols on it, just like a calculator. The keys on the numeric keypad are arranged in a box shape with numbers 0-9 on the top row and additional symbols (such as +, -, *, /) on the bottom row.

Using the numeric keypad can make it easier and faster to enter numbers into your computer, especially if you are doing a lot of data entry. To use the numeric keypad, you simply press the number or symbol keys that you need, just like you would on a calculator.

Some keyboards have a separate, detached numeric keypad that you can plug into your computer, while others have the numeric keypad integrated into the main keyboard.

It's important to remember that not all keyboards have a numeric keypad, so if you need to use one, make sure to look for one that has this feature. Additionally, some laptops and smaller keyboards may have a "Num Lock" key that you need to turn on before you can use the numeric keypad.

Overall, the numeric keypad is designed to make it easier and faster to enter numbers and perform calculations on your computer.
