A nuragic holy well is a very old and special kind of well that is located on the island of Sardinia in Italy. People have been using it for thousands of years! It was built by a group of people called the Nuragic, who lived on the island a long, long time ago.
The well is called "holy" because it was used for religious ceremonies and was considered a sacred place by the Nuragic people. They believed that the water in the well had magical powers that could heal them and give them good luck.
The well is really deep and goes all the way down to an underground water source. It has a long spiral staircase that goes around the inside of the well, and people would climb down the stairs to get to the water at the bottom.
Today, the well is still there and people can visit it as a historical site. It's a reminder of the Nuragic culture and of how important water was to them.
