Oasification

Oasification is a process that helps make our planet healthier. It happens when water turns into oases (or wetland areas) in dry regions. It happens when groundwater or river water seeps through the ground into an area where there isn't much rainfall. These wetland areas provide habitats for plants and animals, create new sources of water, and help the environment. They can even help prevent floods and droughts.
