Observer bias

Observer bias is when people who are watching something or trying to measure something are biased. This means they think one thing more than another, and it causes them to either pay more attention to or ignore certain things. For example, if someone was watching a competition, they might prefer one of the competitors more than the others, and if they are the one that is giving out the score, the score might not be totally fair since they are biased.
