Occam's razor

Occam's Razor is a tool that helps you figure out the best answer to a question when there are lots of possible answers. It works by saying that the simplest answer is usually the best one. For example, if someone was asking why it is raining outside, a simple answer like "because it is cloudy" is probably better than something complicated like "because the rain god is angry." Occam's Razor helps you find the simplest and most likely answer.
