Occupational Information Network

An occupational information network (O*NET) is a database used by employers to find out about the skills and qualities needed for different jobs. It lists different kinds of jobs, the skills needed to do them, the tasks involved, and other information like wage levels and working conditions. O*NET is like an encyclopedia of jobs: employers can look up the information they need to hire the right people for the job.
