Ocean bottom

The bottom of the ocean is like the very bottom of a swimming pool, but much bigger and deeper. It is the bottom part of the ocean that we cannot see from the surface because it is covered by a lot of water.

The ocean bottom is made up of different materials like sand, mud, rocks, and even some living creatures. These different materials make up the ocean floor which can be flat, bumpy, or even have mountains.

The ocean bottom is so deep that no sunlight can reach it, making it very dark and cold. Some parts of the ocean floor also have very high water pressure which means it can be hard for humans to explore or even get close to those parts.

Even though the ocean floor is mostly unexplored, scientists are continuing to study and learn more about it. This helps us understand the ocean and its impact on our planet's ecosystem.
