Ocean development

Ocean development means that people build things in the ocean. Just like people build things on land – like houses, schools, and shopping centers – they also build things in the ocean. This helps us be able to explore and learn more about the ocean, and also use the ocean for things like energy and food. Sometimes it’s also used for transportation, like bridges that connect two different pieces of land over the ocean.
