Office of Science and Technology Policy

The Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) is an office in the White House of the United States. It helps the President decide what to do about science and technology. Science and technology are things learned and developed by people to help us understand the world around us and make our lives easier. The OSTP and its staff of experts look for ways for the President to use science and technology to solve problems and make our country better. They help the President understand and make decisions about science and technology issues.
