Ohmic contact

When two things touch and electricity can flow easily between them, we call that an "Ohmic contact." It's like they are best friends who hold hands and dance together really well.

Imagine you have a toy car that needs batteries to run. The batteries provide the electricity for the wheels to spin. But the electricity can't just jump from the battery to the wheels by itself. You need a wire to connect the two together. When the wire touches the battery and the wheels, it makes an Ohmic contact. This means that the electricity can flow easily through the wire from the battery to the wheels, making the car run.

Ohmic contacts are important in lots of electronic things, like phones and computers. If things aren't touching in the right way, it can make the electricity not work or even break the phone or computer! So making sure things have good Ohmic contacts is really important.
