Oil pollution toxicity to marine fish

Oil pollution is something that happens when too much oil is released into the ocean. Oil is made out of lots of different kinds of chemicals and some of these chemicals can be toxic to marine fish. This means that if too much oil gets into the ocean, it can kill the fish that live there. Sometimes this happens when ships spill their oil and other times it is caused by oil rigs that leak oil. In either case, the oil can make the water toxic for fish and can make it hard for them to breathe.
