Olfactory tubercle

The olfactory tubercle is a part of our brain that helps us smell things. It is like a special little room where all the smells go to get processed. When we smell something, like a yummy cake, the smell goes up our nose and travels to our olfactory bulbs. Then the olfactory bulbs send a message to the olfactory tubercle, which tells us what we are smelling. Think of it like a little messenger that tells us, "Hmm, this smells like chocolate cake!" The olfactory tubercle helps us recognize different smells and make sense of them. Without it, we wouldn't be able to enjoy all the delicious smells in the world.
