ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Olio (app)

Olio is a magical app for your phone that helps you share your extra food with people nearby who might really need it! Remember when mommy said, "Sharing is caring"? Well, this app is all about that!

Sometimes we make too much food, our fridge is too full, or we buy too much food that we can't eat before it goes bad. With Olio, you take a picture of your extra food and put it up on the app so nearby people can see it. They can then request it and come pick it up from you, which saves this food from going to waste! Another perk is that it even tells you how much food you've saved from being wasted, which is a super special achievement.

But wait, there's more! Since Olio is all about sharing, sometimes other people might have extra food they want to give away too. The app is the place where you can see what they're offering and request some of their spare food too. That way, everyone is extra happy because we're all helping each other and not letting good food go to waste! Yay for Olio!
