One-hit wonder

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard a song on the radio or in a movie that you really loved, but you never heard anything else from that singer again? That's called a "one-hit wonder." It means that the singer or band only had one really popular song, but never had a big hit again.

You see, sometimes musicians strike gold with one song that everyone loves, but they can't seem to recreate that success with their other songs. It's like they hit the jackpot once, but they couldn't find the lucky ticket again.

It's not always a bad thing to be a one-hit wonder though. That one song could be so catchy and memorable that it stays in people's heads for years and becomes a classic. Even if the singer doesn't become super famous, they still made a mark on the music world with their one big hit.
