ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

One-light

Okay kiddo, today we are going to talk about something called One-Light. You know those big screens in the movie theaters? Well, before movies can be shown on those screens, they first have to be edited and colored properly so they look good. One-Light is a step in that process where the movie is looked at closely by someone called a colorist.

The colorist uses special tools to adjust the colors in the movie so they match what was originally intended when the movie was shot. This means making sure the colors look the same throughout the movie, and fixing any mistakes that might have happened during filming.

Once the colorist is done with the One-Light process, the movie is ready to go to the next step in the process where it will be checked for any final errors before being shown to audiences. So, in summary, One-Light is like giving the movie a special color makeover!
