ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

One-to-one computing

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes in school, you have to share your computer or tablet with other kids in your class? Well, one-to-one computing is when every student gets their very own computer or tablet to use in class all the time.

It's like having your very own toy at home that you never have to share with anyone else! Except, instead of a toy, it's a computer or tablet, and instead of playing with it, you use it to do schoolwork and learn new things.

One-to-one computing is important because it helps every student have the same access to technology and information, no matter where they live or how much money their family has. It also helps teachers use technology to make learning more fun and interactive.

But, it's important to remember to take care of your own computer or tablet, charging it when it needs to be charged, not dropping it or spilling things on it, and using it responsibly in class.
