ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Online outsourcing

Online outsourcing is like when you ask a friend or family member to help you with something, except you ask someone on the internet who you do not know in person. This person can do different kinds of jobs for you, like typing information into a computer, designing a logo for your business, or even making a video for you.

You use websites to connect with people who can help you with these jobs, such as Upwork or Fiverr. You tell them what you need, and they usually give you a price for how much it will cost. Then, if you like their offer, you hire them to do the job for you.

Online outsourcing is used by lots of people all over the world. It can save you time and money, because you don't have to do the job yourself or hire someone full-time to do it for you. Instead, you can hire someone just for the one job you need help with.
