Onolatry

Onolatry is a very big word that means worshiping donkeys. Now, donkeys are very helpful animals that can carry heavy things and help people work on farms. But, we don't actually worship them or think they are gods. Some people in the past, though, believed that donkeys had special powers or were some kind of god-like creatures. They would pray to donkeys and even build statues to worship them. This is not something that people believe or do often today, but it's important for us to know about different beliefs people used to have in the past.
