Ontology-based data integration

Ontology-based data integration is a way that computers can read data from different systems so that it can be used in the same place. Ontologies help the computers understand the relationships between different pieces of the data, like how the different words are related and what the different things mean in the data. By understanding these relationships, computers can figure out how to bring together the data from different places and use it all in one place.
