Operation (mathematics)

Operations in math are the things we do to numbers. They are like buttons that you can press to change the numbers. The most common ones are addition (putting numbers together), subtraction (taking numbers away), multiplication (repeating numbers many times) and division (sharing numbers). We can use these buttons to solve math problems.
