Operation Enduring Freedom
Operation Enduring Freedom is a fancy word for a big plan that happened a while ago. It was when the grown-up leaders of some countries got together and decided to help stop some bad guys who were doing bad things in other countries.
The bad guys were called terrorists, and they were hurting people and making them feel scared. So, some grown-ups from America and other countries got together and made a plan to stop the terrorists from doing bad things.
They sent some very brave soldiers who were dressed in special clothes called uniforms to go to the countries where the bad guys were. These soldiers were very cool because they were very strong and brave, and they wanted to help the people who were being hurt by the bad guys.
