Operation Ivy

Operation Ivy was a cool band that played really fun and energetic music. They were one of the first punk rock bands to mix ska music into their sound, which made their music extra catchy and danceable. The band started in California in the 1980s and had four amazing members: Jesse Michaels, Tim Armstrong, Matt Freeman, and Dave Mello. They put out one album called "Energy" that everyone loved because it was loud, fast, and really made you want to jump around. But, unfortunately, the band didn't stick together for very long and broke up in 1989. Even though they didn't make a lot of music, Operation Ivy is still remembered as a really important band in punk rock history because they helped create a fun and unique sound that lots of other bands have copied since then.
