Operation Urban Warrior

Operation Urban Warrior was a big game that grown-ups played in the 1990s. The game was all about soldiers practicing how to fight in cities, which can be really different than fighting in the woods or a big open space like a desert. City fighting is called "urban" and it's harder because there are buildings and people all around you.

To play Operation Urban Warrior, the grown-ups set up a pretend city with buildings and streets that looked real. They got pretend guns and went through exercises to practice fighting in the city. They had to learn how to be very careful so that they didn't hurt themselves or the people who weren't playing the game.

The grown-ups who played Operation Urban Warrior were mostly soldiers who wanted to get better at fighting in cities. They practiced a lot so that if they ever had to do it for real, they would be ready.
