ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Operation Uvda

Operation UVDA was an operation led by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) that aimed to destroy a group of militants who were believed to be responsible for firing rockets into Israel from the Gaza Strip.

Think of the Gaza Strip as a big playground where different groups of people are playing. Unfortunately, some of these people are using rocks and stones to hurt the other players. This is a very bad thing to do, and it makes the other players very upset and angry.

The IDF, who are like the grown-ups in charge of the playground, wanted to stop the people who were throwing rocks and stones. So, they came up with a plan to stop them.

Operation UVDA involved a lot of different things, like soldiers going into the playground to find the people throwing rocks, using planes and helicopters to drop bombs to destroy their houses and other places they were hiding, and gathering intelligence to find out where they were hiding.

The goal of Operation UVDA was to stop the people from throwing rocks and to make sure that the playground was safe for all the players. It was a very important mission, and it required a lot of bravery and hard work from the soldiers involved.

In the end, the mission was successful, and the people who were throwing rocks were stopped. The playground could once again be a safe and happy place for everyone to play.
