Orange jelly candy

Have you ever had those really yummy orange jelly candies? Well, they are made by mixing a special type of sugar with water and heating it up until it becomes a thick and sticky syrup. Then, a special ingredient called pectin is added to the syrup to help it set and become solid. Pectin is found in many fruits, but in this case, it usually comes from oranges.

Once the pectin is added, the syrup is cooked even more until it thickens even more and becomes a jelly-like consistency. Then, flavorings and colorings are added to give the candy its orange color and taste. Finally, the jelly is poured into special molds to create its distinct shape.

Now, why do we love these candies so much? Well, the sweet and fruity flavor of the orange makes our taste buds happy, and the chewy texture is super fun to eat! And that, my little friend, is how orange jelly candy is made!
