ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Organic reaction

Organic reactions are chemical reactions that involve molecules made of mostly carbon and hydrogen atoms. Organic reactions often take place between molecules that contain carbon-carbon bonds or carbon-hydrogen bonds. Many organic reactions involve breaking these bonds and making new ones to form different molecules. For example, when you burn a candle, the wax and the wick are reacting to form new molecules, like water and carbon dioxide!
