Organized crime

Organized crime is when a group of people break the law together in order to make money. Sometimes these groups can be like gangs or crime families. They usually choose to break laws that involve them making money, such as selling illegal drugs or robbing banks. This is different from someone breaking the law alone, because when people work together in this way they are much more difficult to stop.
