ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Original net animation

Okay kiddo, so you know that sometimes we watch cartoons on TV or online, right? Well, sometimes people make cartoons just for the internet and they call it Original Net Animation, or ONA for short.

It's kinda like making a special treat just for your friends at home instead of making a big batch to share with everyone at a party. The people who make ONA can tell the story they want to tell without having to worry about things like TV schedules or ratings.

They can also use different animation styles or tell stories that might not be suitable for TV. And best of all, we can watch it anytime we want and as many times as we want!
