Origins of rock and roll

Rock and Roll is a type of music that includes electric guitar, drums, and shouting vocals. It originally started in the 1950s with performers like Little Richard and Elvis Presley, who combined the different styles they heard to create something new. Rock and Roll is based on a combination of older music styles, such as Blues and Country, as well as African-American Gospel. It's popularity soon spread throughout the world and is still popular today with new artists creating their own versions of Rock and Roll.
