Oslo Accords

Oslo Accords is an important agreement that was signed between two groups of people who had been fighting with each other for a very long time. These groups were Israelis and Palestinians and they had been fighting over the land that they both wanted to own.

The Oslo Accords were signed to try and put an end to this conflict. It was like when you and your friend have a fight and your parents make you sit down and talk things out, and come up with a way to stop fighting.

The agreement was signed in Oslo, a city in Norway. The leaders of the Israelis and the Palestinians met there to talk about how they could live together in peace on the land they both wanted to own.

They agreed that Israel would recognize Palestine as a country and they would work together to create a government that both Israelis and Palestinians could be a part of. They also agreed on how they would share land, security, and education.

But even though these agreements were made, the fighting did not stop completely. Some groups did not agree with the Oslo Accords, and they continued to fight. Despite this, the Oslo Accords were an important step towards peace in the region, and it showed that even when it seems impossible, people can still come together and find common ground.
