Osterbrunnen

Osterbrunnen is a German tradition where people decorate their water fountains with colourful eggs, flowers, and other pretty things during the Easter season.

It's kind of like when you decorate your Christmas tree with shiny ornaments and lights, except the Germans decorate their fountains instead.

People start by cleaning the fountains and making them look nice. Then, they attach wooden poles to the sides of the fountain and cover them with garlands and flowers.

Next, they decorate the poles with hanging baskets, coloured eggs, Easter bunnies, and even little birdhouses!

The eggs are painted with bright colours and designs, and sometimes even have little faces on them.

The Osterbrunnen is a really fun way to celebrate Easter and make your town look colourful and bright. Plus, it's a chance to spend time with your friends and family while working on a creative project together.
