Outboard motor

An outboard motor is a machine that helps boats move in the water. Imagine a boat as a big toy with you and your friends on it. To push it forward, you would need to use your arms to paddle. Well, an outboard motor is like a set of really strong arms that can move your boat without you needing to paddle.

The motor gets attached to the back of the boat and has a special propeller that spins really fast. When the propeller spins, it pushes water backwards, which pushes the boat forward. It's like when you blow air out of your mouth to make a bubble.

The motor needs gas like a car does to keep working. It also has a steering wheel that helps you direct the boat where you want to go. It's like a toy car you can drive with a remote control.

It may look complicated, but it's actually quite simple. It's just like having a strong helper pushing you and your boat so you can enjoy your time on the water without getting tired.
