Okay kiddo, imagine you have a big box where you keep all your toys. But sometimes you want to play with the toys outside of the box. That's where the outport comes in.
An outport is kind of like a little door on the side of the box that lets you take out specific toys to play with. It is a way for information (in this case, toys) to be sent out of a computer system to somewhere else, like a printer or another computer.
Just like how you can choose which toy to take out of the box, people can choose which information to send through the outport. They can also choose where it goes and in what order it is sent.
So next time you see an outport on a computer, just remember it's like a little door that lets you take things out to play with.
