ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Outsourcing of animation

Outsourcing animation is like when you ask someone else to draw pictures or make a movie for you. Let's pretend you want to make a cartoon, but you don't know how to draw or make it move. You can ask someone else who is really good at drawing and animation to help you out.

That someone else might be in a different country than you or speak a different language, but that's okay because they can still show you what they can do through pictures and videos. So you send them your ideas and they make it into a cartoon for you.

This comes in handy if you need a lot of cartoons or movies made because it's usually faster and cheaper to let someone else do it for you. Plus, the people you hire might have special skills or techniques that you don't know about, which could make your cartoon even better!
