Pāʻū riders

Okay kiddo, so you know how some people like to ride horses, right? Well, pāʻū riders are special horse riders who wear big, colorful skirts called pāʻūs when they ride. These skirts are made out of pretty fabrics and can have lots of designs and patterns on them.

Pāʻū riders are often seen in parades or at special events in Hawaii, which is a place far away with beautiful beaches and lots of sunshine. They ride their horses in the parades and look really fancy and cool because their pāʻūs stand out and make them look important.

Sometimes, pāʻū riders also do competitions where they show off their horse-riding skills and their pretty pāʻūs. It's a fun way to celebrate their culture and traditions.
