ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

POGIL

POGIL stands for Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning. It is a teaching method used to help students learn by getting actively involved in their own learning process. In a POGIL lesson, students work together in small groups to explore and discuss topics. The groups use a set of questions and activities to discover answers, gain understanding of key concepts, and practice skills. As students work together, the teacher acts as a guide and facilitator, helping them clarify and draw connections between ideas. POGIL is used in many different kinds of classes, from science to math to history. It can help students develop critical thinking skills and make connections between what they're learning and real-life applications.
