PROX

Prox is short for "proxy" which means something that stands in for something else. So, let's say you want to visit a website, but you don't want the website to know your real identity or location. This is where a prox comes in. A prox is like a middle-person between your computer/phone and the website. When you make a request to visit the website, the prox will send the request to the website on your behalf, but the website will only see the prox and not you. This can be helpful if you want to keep your identity or location private. Think of it like when you send a letter to your friend, but you ask your mom to deliver it for you. Your friend only sees your mom, not you. Prox can also be used to access websites that might be blocked in your country or by your school/workplace. Just like your mom can help you reach your friend even if your teacher doesn't want you to talk to them.
