Packing density

When we pack our toys or clothes in a suitcase, we want to use as little space as possible. Packing density is how tightly we can pack things into that space.

Think of it like building a tower with blocks. If the blocks are all scattered around, you can't stack them very high. But if you organize them neatly and make sure each block is touching another block, you can build a really tall tower. This is called high packing density, because you're using as much of the space as possible.

In the same way, when we pack things, we want to use as much of the space as possible without leaving any gaps or empty spaces. This means we can fit more things into the same amount of space, which is helpful when we're moving or traveling.

But packing density isn't just about fitting as much as possible into a space. We also want to make sure the things we pack don't get damaged. So we have to be careful not to pack things too tightly, otherwise they might break or get squished.

Overall, packing density is a balancing act between using space efficiently and protecting the things we pack.
