Pakistan has been involved in the War on Terror since 2001. After the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the United States, the United States government wanted to find the people responsible and fight terrorism all around the world. Pakistan helped the U.S. by providing military and intelligence support to combat terrorism. Pakistan also allowed the U.S. to use their airspace and military bases during the war. Pakistan also helped arrest or kill some of the terrorists that were responsible for the attacks. By doing this, Pakistan has helped the fight against terrorism by making it harder for terrorists to hide or plan attacks.
